Psychometric Test Training

Being proficient in psychometric testing is an essential part of your training. To gain registration you must be proficient in the administration, scoring and interpretation of a range of different assessment tools.

Mind Connection provides the opportunity to complete this competency either via group supervision or as professional development workshops. We cover the following tests:

• Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children – Fifth Edition (WISC-V)

• Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale – Third Edition (WAIS-III)

• Wechsler Memory Scale – Third Edition (WMS-III)

• Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI)

• NEO Personality Inventory (NEO-PI-3)

Our testing groups are designed for provisional psychologists who do not have access to psychometric tests in the workplace and offer guidelines and practice in completing assessments with real or simulated clients.

All assessment training is offered online (via Zoom) in a group supervision format. It is therefore accessible to provisional psychologists across Australia. Training includes administration, scoring, interpretation and report-writing.

For the personality assessments, Mind Connection fees include all materials required for practice assessments and recorded assessments for your supervisor to observe.
