Group Supervision
During your internship you can complete up to 60 hours of supervision in a small group format.
Most interns enjoy the opportunity of meeting with colleagues in this manner and find it broadens their understanding and knowledge of the profession.

Groups of between 3 - 5 individuals will generally meet for 2 hours to cover a specific topic or competency. These are practical sessions and can include opportunities to discuss current placement issues or develop skills. The emphasis is on providing a learning experience that will build on your existing proficiency.

The supervisor may include readings or other relevant materials. Some groups could also include tasks to complete in preparation for the group. All these contribute to the efficacy of the learning experience and the consolidation of skills and knowledge.
